Patch & Associates is seeking a Public Relations Manager for a late stage, rapidly growing consumer internet startup based in New York. The company has received nearly $100 million in funding from A-list VC firms and has experienced tremendous success providing a much needed service to a multitrillion dollar consumer market.
The company has a dynamic, smart, fun culture and talented communications team. They are looking to add a Public Relations Manager to be the day-to-day lead in running their external media and PR program, support an internal team and an outside PR agency. You will be responsible for the strategic external media program in an effort to drive brand awareness for the company.
The company is looking for someone who is passionate about media relations, both strategy and pitching, and has experience working successfully with consumer, consumer technology and technology press. In addition to recent technology and business experience and consumer contacts, the ideal candidate will participate in efforts to drive product sales, sign ups and downloads.
