Our client, a Fortune 500 Healthcare Company is seeking a Communications Pro with Product and Corporate PR experience. This position is an integral part of the company’s public affairs team. It is a highly visible, deadline-driven position which requires an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, respond to external requests, support senior public affairs and marketing staff, and forge strong professional relationships with internal and external constituencies. The position proactively sets vision and strategy for broad-based PR programs and ensures alignment with the company’s marketing programs as well as corporate initiatives.
You will work with national and international business, and serve as the spokesperson to enhance and protect the brand and reputation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in the development and execution of public relations programs with an emphasis on media relations. Experience dealing with top-tier business reporters preferred. Must have proven writing, verbal and problem-solving skills and demonstrated success in developing and executing communications impacting reputation. Previous pharmaceutical, corporate and product pr experience is required. Science background ideal. Experience with clinical data presentations ideal. The company will relocate. This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Base salary: Up to $175k plus benefits, stock etc.
